Meet me in the connection lab
When I was actively raising my children (including a son with autism born 1988), I poured a ton of time and energy into learning and parenting. I researched, experimented, studied and found what worked for me and my family. I had earned a Master’s degree in educational psychology and went on to become a Board Certified behavior analyst to increase my toolbox for my own family. Once my children were grown and independent, people started coming to me and I have been finding ways to help families ever since.
The connection lab serves as a platform to help parents and caregivers solve behavior problems, discover patterns, and establish a better, lasting way of connecting based on what is important to them. Using the principles from behavior science, acceptance and commitment therapy, and evidence based positive parenting paradigms, the connection lab is a perfect blend of science and feelings. The goal is to help you find your parenting mojo, establish confident grounding for a connected relationship with your children that lasts a lifetime.
